Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you use jaquers.es, what we use it for, for how long and what rights you have. We have written it to be understood without a law degree.

2. What data we process and where it comes from

  • Email and telephone: the data you give us when you write to hola@jaquers.es or call us (name, company, contact details, the content of your message and, if you provide it, your organisation’s domain for the exposure report). The website has no forms: the contact links open your own email or phone app.
  • Technical browsing data: for security reasons, the server hosting the website records the IP address, date and time, page requested and browser user agent. We do not use cookies or third-party analytics tools (see the cookie policy).
  • Visit statistics (only with your consent): if you accept the «Analytics» category of the cookie notice, we record the pages you visit, reading time and scrolling, the referring website or campaign, language, device type, browser and operating system, screen width, page load time and clicks on contact and download links, linked to a random identifier stored in your browser. The IP address is only used to infer an approximate country and city and is not kept. We do not try to identify you.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and requests: while we handle them and, at most, twelve months from the last communication, unless a contractual relationship begins.
  • Client data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and, afterwards, for as long as needed to meet legal liabilities (generally six years under Spanish commercial and tax law).
  • Technical server logs: a maximum of twelve months, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
  • Visit statistics: thirteen months; then deleted automatically.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law. To provide the service we use providers acting as data processors under contract: Raiola Networks, S.L. (web hosting, Spain) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft 365 corporate email, Ireland), with data hosted in European Union data centres. Visit statistics are processed on Jaquers' own server hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) in data centres in the European Union, acting as data processor.

For the limited cases in which Microsoft may process data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided for in the GDPR apply: standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and Microsoft’s participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw the consent you have given, by writing to hola@jaquers.es with the subject "Data protection", stating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity.

If you believe we have not handled your rights correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted communications, access control, activity logging, backups and the same audit criteria we apply to our clients. The website does not collect or store personal data: enquiries are handled in our corporate email.

8. Minors

The website and our services are aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly process data of children under 14.

9. Changes to this policy

We will publish any changes to this policy here, indicating the date of the last update.
